Support Our Work

Make a donation

At Become we help thousands of children in care every year through our face-to-face support work, our helpline, our projects and our magazines. We also help bring about change by guiding and influencing those responsible for children in care. Our vision is that children who spend time in care have equal chances to lead a happy and fulfilling life to those raised in their birth families. Please make a donation now to help us achieve this vision.

Please note: for this week from midday Tuesday 28th November to Tuesday 5th December Become is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge. All donations to Become during this period will be doubled. We therefore kindly ask that if you would like to make a donation please visit Become's page on the Big Give website here to complete your donation.

Become a fundraising hero

Ride, run, bake, jump or shuffle your way to success; raise money towards projects that will help change young people’s lives; achieve something that will stay with you forever. We don’t mind if your weapon of choice is a wooden spoon or a pair of trainers at dawn, but we will be there to support you with training and preparation.

"Become opened doors for me and increased my confidence. They welcomed me and it feels like family."
-Sam, 16

Make work, work for Become!

Do you want to donate a percentage of your business’s profits to charity? Are you the social secretary at work and constantly planning the next mad fundraiser? Maybe you’re heading up CSR at your firm and have an opportunity that could work for Become, or your enthusiastic team want to offer pro-bono support to young people with experience of care.  Well, we’d love to hear from you!

"I used to be really scared to look back at my past but it feels so safe at Become. I am ten times more confident as a result of being involved with Become and the sessions have helped me focus on my future. I feel now like I want to be somebody."
