Do your own fundraising
Planning a community fundraiser or a teambuilder at work? We can provide one-to-one support, posters, t-shirts and other fundraising goodies, and a boost on social media when the big day arrives.
What inspires you? Is it gourmet home cooking or a gruesome-themed cake sale, a personalised pub quiz or a sponsored crawl between village locals? We love hearing about the brilliant and strange ways that people are raising money for us. And if you’re mulling over a few mad ideas – let us know so we can help you narrow things down! Get started with the ideas below.

Pick a sporting event – it could be the Rugby World Cup, Wimbledon, the Grand National or the Euros – and ask your friends, family and colleagues to pay a couple of pounds to pick their team from a grand-looking hat.
The winner gets half, we get half, and your colleagues who couldn’t usually care less about your beloved sport, temporarily become very, very interested! Once it’s over, you can donate your takings to Become.

This works really well at work, too, if, on an agreed day, everyone brings something to the rest of the building. Put up a few posters and watch people flood through your doors, just as the 3pm slump starts to kick in.
For extra excitement, turn it into a competition for ‘best overall bake’, ‘best decoration’ and ‘best taste’. Provide rosettes for the winners and, once it’s over, you can donate your profits to Become.
