Welcome to our five new trustees
We are delighted to announce the appointment of five new trustees to our board, all of whom bring a wealth of expertise, commitment and a shared vision of making a significant impact for care-experienced children and young people.
Joining the Board are:
- Amanda Gethin who brings extensive experience of personnel and talent management. She is currently working as Global Talent Lead at a global professional services firm and is passionate about supporting young people into employment.
- Elisa Jenkins, a Children’s Right’s Solicitor specialising in Education Law, has worked with children and young people throughout her career and is committed to pushing for reform of the care system.
- Kelly Railton who brings both personal experience of the care system and professionally, more than 25 years’ experience of fundraising and commercial development with not-for-profits.
- Alice Roche, an experienced operations leader driving efficiency, impact, and cultural transformation, whose own journey from care to leadership drives her passion to ensure no young person is held back by the systems around them.
- Tom Turcan who has decades of experience across technology, media and the 3rd sector, and brings digital and innovation skills from his current role as Managing Vice President at Gartner.

The new trustees bring the total number of Become Board members to 12, with over 50% of the
Board having care experience.
