Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications?
Over the last 20 years, I have worked across the third sector in voluntary and professional roles, fundraising for a variety of causes including; the arts, international development, autism, and education. I know from personal experience how critical it is to ensure that care-experienced voices are heard and that we achieve a care system which gives all care-experienced young people a fair start in life.
What do you like about working at Become?
Become is truly an inspiring charity with the strongest values I have encountered in my career. I love being part of a team who are focused and committed to improving the lives of care-experienced people.
What drives you?
Empathy, kindness, the belief that change is possible. (And plenty of caffeine).
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I can generally be found in the garden or walking by the river. I will probably bore you by talking about 20th Century cinema, vintage fashion, or my love of Suffolk.
