Tom Turcan 

Tom has four decades of business experience across technology, media and 3rd sector industries, including at the Guardian, Capital Radio, News UK, BBC Worldwide, Haymarket, and Time Inc.  Working with the Harry Potter franchise, he led the global launch of the Harry Potter eBook series in multiple languages.  Currently, Tom is Managing Vice President at Gartner, the technology research firm, where he leads international teams of research analysts covering digital business, strategy, innovation, organisational change, AI and sustainability.  He’s delighted to join Become as a new trustee.

Tom lives in Surrey with his wife and two adult children, both adopted. As a volunteer, he has served as a multi-academy trust school governor, and in his spare time he gets outdoors for mountain biking and sea kayaking, and likes music, theatre and eating chocolate.
