Why are you involved in the advisory group at Become?
Growing up I was always heavily involved in my children in care council helping create change and helping young people and myself have a voice at a local level. As I got older I decided I wanted to help be apart of creating a change on a national level for looked after children and care leavers and that is why I joined Become.
What do you do now?
Along side working with Become I work with another charity supporting change in social care and work as a participation worker supporting young people who are care experienced to have a voice and influence change.
What’s your proudest achievement?
My proudest achievement is public speaking.
What change would you like to see?
I would like to see a change in attitude towards the way people view care experienced young people and highlight the amazing inspiration care experienced people are.
What are your hobbies and interests?
My hobbies are music and admiring tattoos!
What’s an interesting fact about you?
I haven’t seen my natural hair colour in over 10 years!
