What do you do at Become? I oversee our direct work with children and young people, developing and testing new ways of working to ensure our programmes and services are safe, engaging and impactful.
Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications? I have 15 years’ experience in children and young people’s work across health, education and charity sectors. As a qualified teacher with a Masters degree focused on youth and community building, supporting children and young people to achieve the best outcomes in all areas of life has been central to my work every step of the way.
What do you like about working at Become? Become genuinely puts young people at the heart of everything we do. It’s fantastic working with such a committed, passionate and talented team.
What drives you? Equality, respect and ambition.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Exploring the countryside, visiting weekend markets and learning to garden are some of my favourite outside-of-work activities.
