12 week programme: The Big House
- The Big House are a creative charity in Islington that work with 16-25-year-old care leavers, young people with experience of the care system and young people who are at risk of offending or homelessness.
- They are currently recruiting for their 12-week programme that combines life skills, employability workshops and rehearsals – working alongside a professional creative team of writers, directs and designers to develop a Big House production.

Survey: your thoughts on mental health for young people in care
- Are you 16 or 17 years old?
- ReThink would love to hear from you for their research into mental health and wellbeing of young people in care.
- They are a team of researchers, supported by Coram Voice, Adoption UK and an advisory panel of care-experienced young people.
- For 45 mins of questionnaires, you will get a £15 voucher as a thank you.

Workshops: Theatre-making
- Are you interested in theatre-making?
- Do you live in London?
- Are you care-experienced and aged 16-24?
- Coram is holding theatre-making workshops. They will pay for your travel expenses and provide food at each session.

Event: find your fearless with Prince’s Trust
- Are you aged 16-30?
- Interested in an exciting, interactive event for young people where you can get involved in fun activities, challenging workshops, and ultimately ‘find your fearless’?
- Join the Prince’s Trust on 21 August in London to find out what the charity has to offer and how it can help you unlock your fearlessness.
Event: ‘Beyond the Consultation’ with Barnardo’s
- Barnardo’s are holding a series of online sessions titled ‘Beyond the Consultation’
- They want to talk to as many young people as possible about your ideas for an improved care system
- They are flexible as in you can go to as many or as few sessions as you would like
- For each session you attend, you will receive a £10 voucher of your choosing

Survey: your thoughts on care as a protected characteristic
- The Children’s Commissioner is looking into whether ‘care experience’ should be given protection in law
- If you’d like to give your views, fill in this 5-10 minute survey.
Survey: supported accommodation
- There’s a new Ofsted consultation seeking views on supported accommodation for children and care leavers 16 and 17 years old
- They are seeking views directly from young people – this is a chance to help shape what happens to future children in care.

Event: insight into finance careers
- Are you interested in a career in the financial sector?
- One of our funders is offering free places to attend their Insight Day on 23 August in London (a great opportunity to kick start a career!)
