We understand that lots of care-experienced young people might be feeling anxious about coronavirus (Covid-19). Things can feel quite overwhelming, especially for those who don’t have family around to talk to.
At Become, we’re here for any child in care or care leaver with questions about the impact of coronavirus on the care they’re receiving, who want some personal advice, or just need someone to talk to.
We’re encouraging care-experienced young people to get in touch with us on 0800 023 2033 or at [email protected].
The page will be regularly updated as further information continues to be released by the government and other bodies, and also includes some tips on managing anxiety and staying connected during a time when we’re all being encouraged to stay at home.
