Biking for Children in Care welcomes inexperienced and intermediate cyclists. An amazing team of individuals in support vehicles will be following throughout the adventure, providing catering and all health and safety requirements.
There will also be optional, free training rides in London in April & May so you can get to know fellow riders and gain confidence on your bike.
From 2002 to 2020
Biking for Children in Care has raised over £750,000 for Become since 2002. Gill Timmis MBE, who founded and leads the group, has worked in the care sector for almost 30 years and recognises its need to change. Gill said that "children in care face enormous difficulties and have to overcome numerous problems and disadvantages. Become is helping to address these issues by working with young people, supporting them, and campaigning on their behalf."
By supporting Biking for Children in Care you are helping care-experienced young people to believe in themselves and to heal, grow and unleash their potential.
