Black History Month

Find out about Black History Month 2023 at Become

Black History Month 2023

During Black History Month, we will be amplifying the important organisations, resources, and stories that celebrate and support Black young people.

Black History Month is about uplifting stories, celebrating successes and highlighting the issues the Black community face, and what can be done to overcome them.

We want to share the mic with the crucial individuals and organisations that are championing Black voices in 2023, particularly those with care experience.

That’s why we also asked the Become team to share the books, articles, videos, and individuals they think encapsulate Black History Month. You can find out what they said below.

If you have a book, blog, podcast, video or another resource you think should be listed, please email in.
