Help with applications to further and higher education in Scotland
If in doubt, get in touch with a named contact at the university or college you’re thinking of going to.
Applying to uni or college can seem complicated, but if you have all your information ready all you will need is some time.
You’ll have to have your university choices, about previous exam results, names and contact information for your references as well as have your personal statement. It’s not as daunting as it sounds – there are plenty of tips online, and UCAS, unis and colleges may offer help with the process too.
Want to study at university? If you want to study at university, application is through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). For some undergraduate and postgraduate performing arts courses studied at conservatoires, and some other specialist post-graduate schemes you may have to apply directly with the institution. Want to study at college? If you want to study at a college, application is directly through the college and you can apply to as many colleges as you like! The applications are online and you can find them on the individual college website. For more information find out more here.
