The details of support available can change, so before you apply it's best to speak to the named contact to check exactly what they offer.
We are dedicated to making sure care leavers get all the help they need. We will contact you before you arrive at the university to offer a one-to-one meeting with the student funding officer, who can offer you any help you might need before starting higher education. If you don't hear from anyone by June, please do get in touch via the email provided. We will also pay your accommodation deposit for you, as well as offering accommodation all year round. We have a dedicated counselling service that is totally confidential, as well as a mental health service, disability and dyslexia service and funding service. The designated contact is there for you throughout each year of your studies at St Mary's and will do all they can to assist you with anything concern or query you have.
