Kevin, a final year Politics student at the University of Greenwich, shares how the stability of not moving gave him the confidence to go away for university and move out of “choice”.
If we want the best outcomes for all care-experienced young people then we have to keep them within their local area, keep those relationships intact, keep that sense of community so they become the best person they can be.

Young people in care should have a choice where they want to move to and not be moved by Local Authority who doesn't know what their best needs are and what they want at heart.
